My Favorite Taylored Expressions’ Tool

One of my favorite companies in the stamping world is Taylored Expressions. They released their large glass mat last year and I am absolutely in love with it. I previously used a Tim Holtz glass mat on my main work surface, but this beauty has taken its place.

These are some of the things that I feel make this glass mat stand out:

  • The size. It fits nicely on my work surface, protecting my desk from stains and cuts.
  • The white background. This girl is getting older and her eyes aren’t what they used to be. The white background allows me to see all of my die cuts, embellishments and other tools better.
  • The color catcher. I am a messy crafter, so having a designated area to place my mediums keeps me from getting half way through my card and smudging ink on my project.
  • Guide lines. I am a collector of all Taylored Expression things. Just ask my husband. I am not a person who loves to color, so I love the stencils they offer. With this mat you have all of the guide lines for your Create-In-Quad Stencil, Triple Slim Line Stencils, 6 X 6 stencils and A2 card fronts.
  • Clean up. Did I mention I am a messy crafter? I get ink and glue everywhere. This mat is so easy to clean. I just spray some glass or multi surface cleaner on the mat and voila, the mess is gone.

I still love and use my Tim Holtz glass mat and I keep it in another area of my craft room where I am working on some other projects. It will. always be my first love.

If you are considering the Taylored Expressions glass mat it is currently out of stock, but, the next preorder begins April 23, 2024. Don’t miss out.
